The Deg-Bhapka method
The centuries old Deg-Bhapka method followed at बूँद | Boond involves a slow distillation process wherein a copper vessel or Deg, is filled with organic ingredients like flowers, herbs and water. The vessel is sealed with mud, and put on wood fire. Finally the fragrant steam travels through the Bhapka and is cooled in water to become a memorable perfume. The final fragrance is a combination of oils extracted from this process and does not include alcohol.
We are proud to be conferred with the Geographical Indicator (GI) Tag by the Government of India for authentic Kannauj Perfume. The GI Tag is a government recognized indicator of quality and authenticity for products that have a unique geographical origin and possess qualities or a reputation that are due to that origin.
